Un bootleg al giorno - 19 febbraio - Taj Mahal, Bob Dylan, George Harrison, John Fogerty

Quello che sembrava essere "solo" un concerto di taj mahal, il 19 febbraio 1987 al Palomino Club di Holliwood, diventò un evento.

Tre persone dalla platea salirono sul palco, ma nessuno chiamò la security.

Nessuno chiama la security se sul palco salgono george harrison, john fogerty e bob dylan.

I tre si uniro alla band di taj mahal ed iniziarono una vera e propria jam session, improvvisando brani ed accettando richieste dal pubblico.

La leggenda narra che bob dylan e john fogerty si conobbero quella sera sul palco e che dylan disse a fogerty che avrebbe fatto meglio a cantare una certa canzone, se non voleva che tutti ne ricordassero solo la versione di tina turner.

Fogerty allora, nonostante da anni non suonasse più le canzoni dei creedence clearwater revival, disse al pubblico che suonava questa canzone per una sola ragione: glielo aveva chiesto bob dylan.

Ed attaccò proud mary.

E’ Tiziano Chierotti, ha 24 anni, ed è originario di Arma di Taggia il militare ucciso oggi in Afganistan, in un conflitto a fuoco in cui sono rimaste ferite altre tre persone. La sparatoria è avvenuta nel distretto di Bakwa, a sud di Herat, nel corso di un’operazione congiunta della Task Force South East con unità del 207° Corpo dell’esercito afgano. E’ stato lo stesso Stato maggiore della Difesa ad ufficializzare la notizia. Chierotti era caporale ed effettivo nell’Esercito dal 2008 al secondo reggimento alpini di Cuneo.
