Bruce Springsteen persona dell'anno.

Persona dell'anno per il suo impegno nella beneficenza: la Musicares Foundation ha assegnato a Bruce Springsteen il premio "Person of the year" 2013. 

Bruce è infatti impegnato in numerose cause di beneficenza, in particolare nella lotta alla povertà e nell'impegno a favore dei senzatetto. Il presidente della Recording Academy, che assegna i premi, ha definito Springsteen «un artista rinascimentale del nostro tempo, un patrimonio nazionale e un umanista esemplare». Springsteen, che durante una carriera musicale lunga quasi 40 anni ha vinto 20 Grammy Awards,ha ricevuto ufficialmente il riconoscimento durante un evento privato di beneficenza l'8 febbraio a Los Angeles. In passato il riconoscimento di 'Person of the year' è andato ad artisti del calibro di Barbra Streisand, Quincy Jones, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin e Paul McCartney.
