21 giugno 1951 - nasce nils lofgren, a 17 anni suona il piano nell'album After the gold rush di neil young, poi si dedica al suo gruppo Grin, nel 1984 entra nella E Street Band, suona anche con la Ringo Starr's All Starr Band

21 giugno 1985 - bruce springsteen suona per la prima volta in italia, allo stadio san siro di milano.

21 giugno 2001 - Muore a quasi 84 anni John Lee Hooker, autentica leggenda del blues. Originario di Clarksdale, Mississippi, fu l'inventore del cosiddetto 'talking blues'. Autore, cantante e chitarrista, a lui si devono classici come "Boom boom" e "Boogie chillen".
